Lenny, Scott and Francie participated in the Bi-State Policy Makers Bike ride on July 20th, which included or vision trail at a University of Portland stop.  We handed out a number of vision maps to 100 plus riders who were a mix of elected officials, agency chiefs, policy staff, etc.

Francie and Pam (Scott was unable to attend) co led with Parks and Metro staff a  Rails to Trails Conference bike ride which highlighted  North Portland trails, Peninsula Crossing and npGreenway’s vision on August 10th.

Brian responded to email for meeting that he wants to have an adidas bike ride on Swan Island with Lenny.

Outreach:

We authorized $150 to print more post cards addressed to Potter, Adams and Saltzman, Paul to take this on and check back at the next meeting to see if we need more.

Breen will work with Lenny on a brochure.

Pam will work on a donation envelop.

Breen will try to update map and Francie will see about getting more maps printed at UP

Jason will up date the website and send an e newsletter out with events and volunteer requests.

Steve Fogarty responded to email for the meeting that he is still working on a video of  the trail.

Government Relations:

PDOT says no, for now, to including the trail in the financial constrained Regional Transportation Plan.

Metro council has the Willamette Greenway on the agenda for an August 14th work session, among other target areas to discuss for bond land acquisitions.  Pam, Francie  and Lenny to go and listen.

Rather than a  meeting next time the suggestion is that we have a potluck dinner with spouses and family at Francie’s house.  Tuesday, August 28th.
