npGREENWAY Community Meeting Jan 31st



npGREENWAY will hold its next public meeting on January 31st at the Kenton Firehouse at 7:00PM 8105 North Brandon. You will find the Firehouse 6 blocks north of Lombard and 1 block west of Denver Avenue at the corner of Schofield and Brandon. It is also home of the North Portland Tool Library and across from the Kenton Post Office.

The meeting agenda will include an update on activities since our last meeting, a calendar of upcoming events and opportunities, as well as a call for action by those in attendance. We hope to see you there!

    Scott,

    I thought I posted a comment a couple of days ago to clarify the earlier one.

    The earlier comment was part rhetorical, part satirical and wholly heartfelt.

    Good luck with your bond measure – I think you’ll need it.

    Hope you’ve got a backup plan involving private funding. I think the general idea would sell on that side if packaged right.

    As for the bicycle stuff, I just think you “good bicyclists” are allowing yourselves to be defined by the “bad bicyclists” by not speaking out more forcefully against obviously dangerous behavior on their part.

    Motorists won’t bother to ask which camp you’re in when you’re riding. They’ll lump you all together – it’s why I quit riding motorcycles after 18 years.

    Bad strategy, worse tactics.
