    1. February River Plan Committee Meeting and River Plan Open House (February 20)
    The next River Plan Committee meeting will be held Tuesday, February 20. The River Plan Committee meeting will include an update on Watershed Health issues and the Natural Resource Inventory, a summary of the results of the Site Design Workshop held last Fall, and the presentation of a new report (see details below) called Developing the River Plan/North Reach: A Summary of Willamette Greenway Plan Implementation Issues and Potential Solutions. An open house will be held during the hour preceding River Plan Committee and will feature the results from the Site Design Workshop as well as the Natural Resource Inventory maps that were recently completed for the North Reach. All are invited to come view the materials and talk to staff. Refeshments will be provided. Tuesday, February 20

Draft Report Online: Developing the River Plan/North Reach: A Summary of Willamette Greenway Plan Implementation Issues and Potential Solutions
    The River Plan Team has compiled a draft report identifying problems, inconsistencies, and ambiguities in the Greenway code, guidelines, and procedures, along with potential solutions that are currently being researched by staff. The draft report, which is called Developing the River Plan/North Reach: A Summary of Willamette Greenway Plan Implementation Issues and Potential Solutions, will directly inform the development of the River Plan. The draft report is the result of task group meetings and interviews with North Reach property owners, land use consultants, neighborhood association land use chairs, and City staff. Readers are encouraged to send comments by March 16, 2007 to River Plan staff at riverplan@ci.portland.or.us. 3. Greenway Trail Task Group Meeting (February 21)
    The Greenway Trail Task Group will reconvene on Wednesday, February 21 to review trail designs and illustrations. Task group members will also review the staff proposed alignment, including a few changes that have been made since the August 2006 River Plan Committee meeting. Greenway Trail Task Group Meeting
