Events Team

Do you like people?  Do you like having fun?  The Events Team educates people about the trail and gets them excited and invested in advocating for the trail to be completed.  Activities include tabling at events around town, leading rides along existing and proposed sections of the Greenway Trail, and coming up with other fun ideas.  If this sounds like fun, then this is the team for you.

Fundraising and Grants Team

Building a trail and running an organization to advocate for the building of a trail takes money.  Are you a grant writer?  Do you like calling up individuals, businesses and organizations to ask them to help a great cause?  If so, we could use your help.

Volunteer teams will meet occasionally to strategize and plan activities to help make the North Portland Greenway Trail a reality.  Once you join a volunteer team, the chair of the committee will contact you to let you know when the next meeting is.

To join a volunteer team (or two!), fill out this form and we’ll add you to the mailing list for volunteer opportunities. And check out our calendar for upcoming events. Thank you.
