Hello fellow npGreenway Trial advocates:
Its that time of the year again when we are called upon to vote for candidates to fill our public offices. The mail-in ballots are scheduled to be mailed out to us later this week.
npGreenway sent out a questionnaire earlier this year to most of the Metro, Mayor of Portland and Portland City Council candidates asking six questions pertaining to their thoughts regarding the Willamette River Greenway Trail that we are advocating for.
We received responses from:
Charlie Hales, for Mayor of Portland
Mary Nolan and Amanda Fritz, both are running for City Council Position 1—elect 1
Bob Stacey, Metro District 6, and
Sam Chase and Helen Ying, Metro District 5
