The River Plan / North Reach is back on the City Council agenda on April 1, 2010 at 2 pm. View and download documents related to the agenda items at the City Council Documents webpage. Please submit written testimony to: Council Clerk 1221 SW 4th Avenue, Room 140 Portland, OR 97204 Fax: (503) 823-4571 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Written testimony must be received by the hearing date. Because this is the second time that Council will hear testimony on these items and there are other items on the Council agenda following the River Plan, the Mayor is encouraging commenters to be succinct and limit testimony to topics that Council has not already considered. 2. Call for Nominations to a Science Panel The City of Portland is seeking nominations for a science panel to conduct a peer review of the science behind the models proposed for use by the City of Portland in the North Reach. The process will be very technical, so the City is particularly encouraging academics and independent or non-regulatory agency or tribal scientists to apply. Applications are due April 23, 2010. Please see the attached announcement for more information. 3. Staff Responses to Council Testimony Staff has reviewed and responded to testimony submitted to City Council for the December 16 Town Hall meeting and for the February 17 public hearing. View the comments and responses at this link. Where can I get more information?
