Yes, and why did they use concrete with stress joints every three feet. It rides like a train trestle. Why not build it like the section along Marine???
ha… yeah, I don't know. It does not look like they did much research before pouring the concrete. Take a look at the Eastbank Esplanade downtown and you'll see a different control joint pattern as well.
